Rotaviruses

To get vaccinated, book an appointment for a medical qualification.
The qualification is valid for 24 hours from the time it is issued.

An oral vaccine containing live, attenuated human rotavirus to help protect a child, aged 6 weeks or older, from gastroenteritis (diarrhea and vomiting) caused by rota virus infection.

  • Indications for use:
    Rotavirus infection is the most common cause of severe diarrhea in infants and young children. Rotavirus is easily spread by the hand-to-mouth route through contact with the feces of an infected person. In some children, the illness is severe, with increased vomiting, diarrhea and life-threatening fluid loss, requiring hospitalization.
  • Age Indications:
    From 6 weeks of age.
  • Vaccination cycle:
    Infants from 6 weeks of age - 2 doses at an interval of at least 4 weeks. Completion of the 2-dose vaccination schedule should be completed before 16 weeks of age.
