Insured patients have the opportunity to take advantage of free dental services guaranteed by the National Health Service. However, it is important to note that not all dental services are free, and if a non-reimbursed procedure is performed or the patient chooses to have better quality material placed, he or she will have to pay for such a service.

In adults, the NHF reimburses:
- badanie stomatologiczne wraz z instruktażem higieny jamy ustnej- jeden raz w roku,
- kontrolne badanie stomatologiczne- jeden raz na kwartał,
- zdjęcie rtg punktowe– w połączeniu z usługą leczenia,
- leczenie próchnicy- wypełnienia z materiałów chemoutwardzalnych
- Chemically cured fillings in anterior teeth (i.e., from 3 to 3) - upper and lower,
- wypełnienia chemoutwardzalne we wszystkich pozostałych zębach,
- Root canal treatment of anterior teeth (i.e., from 3 to 3) both upper and lower,
- Removal of tartar (scaling) - once a year,
- minor surgical procedures,

In children and adolescents under 18 years of age, reimbursement is available:

- leczenie próchnicy zębów mlecznych i stałych,
- leczenie kanałowe wszystkich zębów,

- wypełnienia chemoutwardzalne w pozostałych zębach,
- leczenie chorób błony śluzowej jamy ustnej,
- leczenie chorób przyzębia,
- usunięcie zębów mlecznych i stałych,

- zaopatrzenie ran błony śluzowej,
Pregnant and postpartum women
Oprócz świadczeń standardowych przysługujących osobom dorosłym, pacjentki mogą skorzystać z dodatkowych procedur:
- usunięcie kamienia nazębnego z całego uzębienia nie częściej niż 1 raz na 6 miesięcy,
- leczenie kanałowe wszystkich zębów,
Prosthetics
- z prac protetycznych refundowane przez NFZ są jedynie akrylowe protezy osiadające przy minimum 5-ciu brakach zębowych – 1 raz na 5 lat,
- naprawa protezy, podścielenie protezy- jeden raz na 2 lata,
Wszelkiego rodzaju korony, mosty, protezy szkieletowe i inne prace są pełnopłatne.
When choosing services reimbursed by the National Health Service, there is no possibility of partial payment for a different type of filling. If a patient chooses to have a filling made of a material other than the guaranteed one, he or she will have to pay for it according to the price list of commercial services.
