Insulin is a hormone produced by the beta cells of the pancreas. It plays an important role in the human body. In type 1 diabetes, insulin treatment is necessary, while in type 2 diabetes, insulin treatment is introduced in cases specified by the doctor.

Patient in the course of Individual Education counseling - Learning to administer insulin:

• will learn the principles of proper administration of insulin injection,
• will receive information on which places insulin can be administered,
• Will receive information on the prevention of injection sites.
