The task of the pediatric cardiologist is to diagnose congenital heart defects and treat conditions such as arrhythmias, myocarditis, valve regurgitation, among others.
The pediatric cardiology outpatient clinic also provides access to specialized tests, such as:
- laboratory tests,
- ECG,
- heart echo,
- Holter study,
- X-RAY.
If necessary, the pediatric cardiologist may also order other tests: CT scan, MRI.
