Preparation
- Have a filled bladder - drink 1-1.5 liters of non-carbonated liquid 1 hour before the test and do not urinate.
Description of the study
Prostate ultrasound is performed using an ultrasound probe applied directly to the abdominal layers. The examination includes an evaluation of the urinary bladder, a general assessment of the prostate (prostate gland).
Indications
